School Principal

The word [Minsai]「民際」in Kyoto Minsai Japanese Language School embodies our hope that, as they study Japanese language and culture at our school, our international students will become global citizens [inter-people] who play active roles on the world stage through interactions among people (民 and 民). It is our belief that this philosophy will foster mutual respect, encourage mutual improvement, and ultimately lead to peace and harmony in the world.

Our international students begin their student life in Kyoto Minsai greeted by cherry blossoms in full bloom during spring and crimson red during autumn. Students from diverse cultural backgrounds gather in their respective classrooms, fostering irreplaceable friendships through their studies and daily life, all the while striving toward their own dreams. We at Kyoto Minsai will spare no effort to help them achieve those dreams. We offer a curriculum that meets all needs, classes that fully utilize the diverse experience and knowledge of our faculty, and support for independent learning. We are delighted that our graduates have spread their wings and pursued their dreams in a variety of fields around the world.

International students studying at Kyoto Minsai are our hope. As they move towards their goals, they will no doubt face many obstacles. However, it is our hope that these students, who came to Japan with dreams, will not forget their original intentions, will continue to move forward without giving up, and will one day become people who can embody the ideals of [Minsai.]
